๐ค Why NeoStat exists
Neonatology is unforgiving with numbers. Every millilitre of fluid, every gram of weight, every milligram of drug has to be accounted for. On a busy night, charting the next day's fluids, intake/output and calories can take forever and is easy to get wrong. NeoStat was built by a resident who lived that grind, to take the repetitive arithmetic off the bedside team so the focus stays on the baby, not the calculator.
๐ก The idea
Put the calculations neonatology trainees reach for most (fluids, nutrition, growth, jaundice, scores and bedside echo) in one fast, consistent, evidence-based place. It is a Progressive Web App: it opens in any browser, installs to the home screen like a native app, and works fully offline after the first load, so it never depends on hospital Wi-Fi. No patient data is stored or sent anywhere; every result is anchored to published references.

The mark is a mother holding her baby in the kangaroo-mother-care (KMC) position, skin-to-skin against her chest. It is a reminder that behind every calculation is that bond, and that the simplest, most human care is often the most powerful. NeoStat exists to give clinicians more time for exactly that.
